Splash Universe Water Park Resorts Holiday Inn Express

damage perform repairsDundee, Mich. – When tornados struck Dundee one early spring morning, Burton Brothers was called in to assess the damage and perform repairs. Our rapid response team quickly established temporary power allowing for roof framing and temporary roof covering. Immediate, dangerous situations were addressed for safety concerns and to prevent further damage from all areas. Plans for cleanup of all debris from outside common areas, pool area, and parking lots devised and completed within 48 hours. Interior environmental concerns were addressed with the rapid drying process that mitigated bacteria or mold.

Nestle Corporation (Arrowhead Springs)

Ontario, Calif. – Water pipeline damaged by wild fires and mudslide. Spring water tapped from the top of a mountain and piped down through steel tubes became damages. Eight miles of steel piping, spring houses, antennas and solar panels were inspected and deemed for replacement or repair. Helicopters hired for difficult delivery of replacement components, tools, workers, and finally re-inspection of the pipeline before reactivation of water surge.

Hickory Grove Condominiums

Bloomfield Hills, Mich. – Fire damaged 3 units of this upscale condominium. Quick response from our 24 hour emergency board up service allowed heat to be restored which minimized the damages in the dead of winter. Full restoration was then performed, upgrading to the latest building codes for management and updating design to the delight of the homeowner.

Provo, Utah – Explosion: Cost analysis, estimating and scheduling.

University of Michigan

Ann Arbor, Mich. – Yost Arena: wall collapsed in the University of Michigan Yost Ice Arena. Burton Brothers provided scope and pricing to the University.

Point West Condominiums

Galveston, Texas – Hurricane Damage on this condominium brought water and wind damage. Burton Brothers on the job cost analysis and estimating allowed workers to begin repairs before mold infestation occurred, which is so important in preventing further damage and keeping costs down. $26,000,000 project.

Houston Community College

Houston, Texas – Hurricane damage: Burton Brothers consulting division provided a cost analysis and estimation. $6,500,000 project.

Sheraton Brook Hollow

Houston, Texas – Hurricane damage to this large hotel and vacations as well. Burton Brothers nationally recognized consulting division responded immediately with a cost analysis and estimation. This allowed the restoration to be addressed before mold and environmental damage occurred. $5,500,000 project.

Grand Blanc Processing Plant

Genesee County, Mich. – chemical explosion at Grand Blanc Procession Plant: Burton Brothers estimated the damaged, and coordinated repairs which included cleaning of all machinery, replacement of electrical feeders, repaired mechanically fastened roof, cleaned and painted concrete walls. Partial production for the plant was made available during reconstruction providing full capacity in just three weeks. $1,500,000 project.

Payne-Pulliam Career Center

Wayne County, Mich. – vandalism stopped operations offered by this non-profit career center which provided programs for Work First, PAL, and WIA. Burton Brothers 24 hour board-up service came out and provided safety for the remaining elements, then restored the building to its fully operational capacity. Then restores the building to fully operational capacity. $18,000 project.

Detroit Transportation Corporation - People Mover

Detroit, Mich. – Detroit People Mover: Maintenance repairs included replacement of grating at all train stations with professional metal ground level grating allowing for the safety of every People Mover Passenger.

Kowalski Sausage

Hamtramck, Mich. – Fire Damage restoration: $500,000 project.

Dillard University

New Orleans, La. – code compliance: $60,000,000 project.

Los Angeles, Calif. – earthquake damage; scope, cost and scheduling. $10,000,000 project.

Port Authority of New York

commercial damage repairNew York, N.Y. – Path tunnel restoration on 9/11/01: Burton Brothers General Contractors was called to serve as lead consultant for properties controlled by the New York Port Authority. Subway tunnels were just one of our assessments of damaged properties. Our country’s vulnerability that day proved to Burton Brothers that we must take steps in all of our lives to serve, protect, and watch out for each other. Scope and cost: $160,000,000 project.

Fox and Hounds Restaurant

Bloomfield Hills, Mich. – Fire completely destroyed this landmark restaurant. Burton Brothers rebuilt in record time allowing business interruption to be kept to a minimum. As with all the Burton Brothers rebuilding projects, building code compliance was strictly adhered to. The restaurant was back preparing their delicious meals in their beautifully remodeled kitchen and dining room in record time. $3,000,000 project.

Ground Zero

New York, N.Y. – September 11th, 2001 changed everyone’s life. Burton Brothers is proud to have provided professional assistance in the assessment of damage to the Millennium Hotel, Merrill Lynch, and Dow Jones Building. Worked at Ground Zero as well as the underground retail, parking, and subway tunnels provided a grim reminder of our vulnerability but also made us proud to assist in rebuilding a symbol of our freedom.

Walt Disney Corporation – Castaway Cay

Abaco, Bahamas – Hurricane damage: high winds and water destruction on the docks and piers of the Disney Property in Castaway Cay delayed their cruise ships from normal operations. Burton Brothers’ immediate verification of scope and cost allowed us to establish scheduling and monitor the rapid restoration of this most important Disney Port. $4,000,000 project.

La Romana, Dominican Republic – hurricane destruction: after hurricane destroyed this beautiful island resort, Burton Brothers led the way with their consulting division and managed the rebuilding of villa, restaurant, marina, fold courses, and even beaches on this 7,000 acre resort. Vacationers were back in no time enjoying the many pleasures Casa de Camp has to offer. Scope, cost, scheduling and monitoring were provided.

Condo Fore Restoration

Residential Fire Restoration

Southeast, Mich. – catastrophic fire loss, November 2007: reconstruction from the ground up, custom built 5,000 square foot condominium which involved two separate insurance companies. Reconstructed in a remarkable 6 month period. “My house burned down in November 2007. Burton Brothers General Contractors, L.C. came out and assessed it and declared it a total loss. Burton Brothers’ crew rebuilt my house. They were supremely efficient in all of their areas of expertise. They made sure everything was rebuilt to my specification and special request. All involved worked very diligently and were very helpful throughout the entire process of rebuilding. My original move-in date was scheduled around mid-November of 2008, but I was able to move in before Halloween thanks to Burton Brothers. kitchen drywall repairGrosse Pointe, Mich. – Fire repair: as with any fire occurrence, you have smoke damage. This eight unit townhouse was smoke damages throughout. Burton Brothers repaired the fire damage unit, cleaned and painted the other units as needed. $500,000 project.

Grosse Pointe, Mich. – This long time residence had damage from a fire while the homeowners were out of town. Our emergency services were called to board up the house for safety purposed until the insurance company and owners were contacted. Ford Residence

Grosse Pointe, Mich. – water damage to this residence occurred when a pipe broke and caused unlivable conditions to the homeowners. Burton Brothers emergency services were called and prevented further damage from mold and mildew. These owners were back living in their beautiful home in less than 3 months. $250,000,000 project.

George Detwiler

Grosse Pointe, Mich. - Fire repair: a project that goes back a few years, but Mr. Detwiler was extremely happy to have his home finished after fire damage.
